Sometimes the default amount of character slots just isn't enough to satisfy player's desire for multiple virtual avatars, and even though picking up the Guild Wars expansion pack adds two more character slots, players demanding more from publisher NCSoft can stop bitchin'. Though all the details haven't been released yet, NCSoft says they'll be charging $9.99 for additional character slots in their popular pseudo-MMO. We get the feeling that means players will receive several slots for their cash, but we should hear soon enough; the program will be kicking off sometime this summer. |

 this is very old news and it is 10 bucks/slot available sometime this summer which a GW rep reminded us goes until sept 23 rd this year for the end of summer
